FAQs

  • Do we sell mushrooms?

GRP never sells mushrooms or psilocybin products. We inspire healing through education and trusted resources on empowering individuals with knowledge for mental wellness.

We are dedicated to advancing the understanding of psilocybin’s potential, supporting personal growth and emotional healing in a legal, compassionate framework.

  • Have magic mushrooms been decriminalized in California?

Some California cities, including Oakland (2019), Santa Cruz (2020), San Francisco (2022), and Berkeley (2023), have decriminalized psilocybin, deprioritizing enforcement for personal use and possession.

In decriminalized cities, police do not prioritize arrests for personal possession or use of psilocybin for adults 21+. This doesn’t federally legalize mushrooms but has allowed people to begin their healing journeys with less worry.

  • Whats the difference between magic and gourmet mushrooms

Magic mushrooms contain psilocybin, a psychoactive compound that can induce altered states of consciousness. These are used in regulated therapy to support mental health conditions like depression or anxiety.

Gourmet and medicinal mushrooms, like Shiitake, Reishi, or Lion’s Mane, lack these psychoactive properties! They are valued for their health benefits such as immune support or cognitive enhancement. They are often very nutritious and have been a staple amongst many restaurants for their flavor and cooking versatility

Magic mushrooms grow in specific wild or controlled environments, while gourmet varieties are widely cultivated for food and supplements

  • What is psilocybin therapy, and how does it work?

Psilocybin, found in certain mushrooms, is a natural compound that, when used in guided sessions, can promote emotional healing and mental clarity.
